Nothing’s worse than dragging your kids someplace they don’t want to be. You won’t have that problem at New Walk! Kids are a top priority around here and our goal is to give your kids the best hour of their week.

FIRST-Time GUESTS

As a first-time guest, your kiddos will get the VIP treatment! Here’s how it works:

Start at our kids welcome desk.

Plan to arrive a little early, so one of our friendly team members can show you around and make sure your child feels comfortable.

Get your matching ID tags.

We’ll get a little information from you, and then we’ll give you and your child personalized ID tags. You’ll use your tag to pick up your child after the Worship Experience.

Feel confident your child is having a great time in a safe space.

Our programs are fun and exciting, and our curriculum helps kids get to know Jesus at a level they can understand.

INFANT – 5th GRADE

OUR KIDS ENVIRONMENTS

NURSEY: 0 - 1

Infants and toddlers learn about God through their interactions with His people. Loving interaction with caring volunteers

Early Childhood: 2 - 5 years

Through engaging teaching and relationship-building activities, young children begin to understand who God is and that God has a plan for their life. Age-appropriate curriculum including music & Bible stories.

Elementary: K- 5th grade

Large group and small group environments that include music, live storytelling, and activities based on the Bible.

OUR PROMISE TO YOUR FAMILY

Your child will be safe. Your child will be surrounded by loving, caring adults who’ve undergone extensive training and background checks. Our ID-matching system ensures that you’re the only person who can pick up your child from their room.
Your child will have a blast. Our team is full of wonderful, high-energy people who love to bring the Bible to life for kids! Your child will want to come back week after week.
Your child will learn about Jesus. Our Kids ministry is fun, but it doesn’t stop there! Our most important job is making sure kids know who God is, how deeply He loves them, and that He has a purpose for their life… starting now!

FAQ

DO YOU LET SICK CHILDREN PARTICIPATE?

We ask parents not to bring their child if they’ve had a fever in the last 24 hours or if they currently have a cough or runny nose. If symptoms develop while they’re in our care, we’ll notify you through our paging system.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD BECOMES REALLY UPSET OR ANXIOUS?

We want your child to feel safe and happy in our care. If they’re still having trouble after two or three minutes of reassurance and distraction, we’ll place your child’s ID number on the screens throughout the building to alert you to come and help with your child.

KID FAITH CLASSES
Kid Faith is a class that offers an opportunity for parents and children to learn about salvation and baptism together. Throughout the class, we will explore some fundamental questions like ‘Who is God?’ ‘What is Sin?’ ‘Who is Jesus, and why did He die?’ and ‘What is baptism?’ These faith-based concepts are crucial as kids make the decision to follow Christ.

We require that all elementary-age children attend this class with their parent or guardian before being baptized at New Walk Church.
